FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

The short, honest answers about the plans, the upload window, and what your guests see. If yours isn't here, just ask.

Plans and pricing

Is it a subscription?

No. Feast is $49 paid once. It doesn't renew, we don't keep your card on file, and there's nothing to cancel. If you change your mind, there's a 14-day money-back guarantee. Snack is free and doesn't ask for a card.

Compare the plans
What happens if we go past 75 uploads on the free plan?

Nothing breaks for your guests. They can still upload. Extra photos stay in the gallery and live slideshow. Videos stay in the gallery. On Snack, downloads past the first 75 stay locked until you upgrade. Upgrade whenever you like, then download the zip again for the rest. One video counts as one upload.

How the free plan works
How does the money-back guarantee work?

Email support@picstash.io within 14 days of buying Feast and we'll refund you in full, to your original payment method. No questions, no forms.

Full refund policy
Is "unlimited" really unlimited?

We don't count your photos and videos, and we never block an upload. Like any unlimited plan, it's covered by a fair-use policy: your stash is for hosting your event's memories, not for general file backup.

Can we use it for something other than a wedding?

Yes. Birthdays, showers, reunions, graduations, retirement parties, memorials. A stash works the same way for all of them, at the same price.

The upload window

When does the upload window start?

Not when you sign up. The page can sit ready for as long as you need. Guests can't upload until your activation date, which defaults to the event and can be moved earlier. That date is when the 1-year upload window begins.

See the timeline
What happens after the upload window?

We email you before it ends so you can download the archive. If you'd rather leave the stash online, the Upload Window extension keeps it hosted for $19 a year. It's optional, and you're never charged for it automatically. When the year ends, the gallery comes down and the link retires. You then have 90 days to download the archive or buy the extension. If you do neither, the photos, videos, and event data are permanently deleted.

How long are photos hosted?

One year from your activation date. There's no forever-hosting plan, so the archive download is how you keep everything. If you want the stash online for longer, the optional Upload Window extension is $19 a year.

Guests and the gallery

Do guests need an app or an account?

No. Guests scan the QR code, land on your page, and type a first name so their photos are credited. That's the whole sign-up. You create an account as the host; your guests don't.

What guests see
Who can see our gallery?

Only people you share it with. Every stash is private and PIN-protected, and the PIN is built into your QR code and the links you share.

Can guests upload videos?

Yes. Photos and videos go into the same gallery, so the speeches and the first dance sit next to everything else. On Snack, one video counts as one upload.

Are photos compressed?

No. Uploads are kept at full resolution, and the archive you download is uncompressed.

What if someone uploads a photo we don't want?

Automatic moderation filters inappropriate uploads before they reach the gallery. You can remove any photo at any time, and guests can delete anything they uploaded themselves.

What it is, and isn't

Is this a wedding website?

No. There's a schedule, a dress code, and custom sections, so your stash can carry the details guests need on the day. It isn't a registry and it doesn't collect RSVPs. It doesn't sell prints, and it doesn't replace your photographer.
